1(5901 sayılı Türk Vatandaşlığı Kanununun 7. Maddesinde “(1) Türkiye içinde veya dışında Türk vatandaşı ana veya babadan evlilik birliği içinde doğan çocuk Türk vatandaşıdır.”, hükmü bulunmakta olup, yurt dışından kabul kontenjanlarına başvuracak adayların Türk Vatandaşlığı Kanunu’nu incelemelerinde yarar bulunmaktadır).
Application Conditions
Candidates who will apply;
a) Provided that they are in their final year of high school or have graduated;
1) Foreign nationals, (those studying in secondary schools (high schools) in Turkey, provided that they have registered before the 2022-2023 academic year [excluding embassy schools, international private educational institutions included in the MOBIS system and foreign nationals brought to our country within the scope of the project carried out by the Ministry of National Education])
2) Those who were Turkish citizens by birth but lost their Turkish citizenship by obtaining permission from the Ministry of Interior to relinquish their Turkish citizenship, and those who can document that they have a blue card granted to those who have lost their Turkish citizenship upon request (those studying in secondary schools (high schools) in Turkey, provided that they have registered before the 2022-2023 academic year) (Article 7 of the Turkish Citizenship Law No. 5901 states that "(1) A child born to a Turkish citizen mother or father in marriage, whether in Turkey or abroad, is a Turkish citizen." 3) Those who were foreign nationals and later acquired Turkish citizenship / dual nationals in this situation (those who studied in secondary education (high school) institutions in Turkey, provided that they registered before the 2022-2023 academic year)
4) Those who are Turkish nationals and completed their entire secondary education (high school) in a foreign country except TRNC (including those who completed their entire secondary education [high school] in Turkish schools opened by the Ministry of National Education in a foreign country other than TRNC)
5) Those who are TRNC nationals, reside in TRNC, completed their secondary education (high school) in TRNC and have GCEAL exam results, and those who registered and studied in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 and have or will have GCE AL exam results
Acceptance of applications,
b) From the candidates;
1) T.C. citizens who completed their secondary education (high school) in Turkey or the TRNC,
2) Those who are citizens of the T.R.N.C. (except those who completed their secondary education (high school) in the T.R.N.C. high schools and have GCE AL exam results and those who registered and received education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 and have or will have GCE AL exam results),
3) Those with dual citizenship whose first nationality is Turkish by birth as defined in clause 2 of article a, (except those who meet the conditions in clause 4 of article a)
4) Those whose nationality is one of the T.R.N.C. (excluding those who completed their secondary education (high school) in TRNC high schools and have GCE AL results and those who registered and received education in colleges and high schools in other countries between 2005-2010 and have or will have GCE AL exam results),
5) Turkish nationals who studied in schools affiliated with embassies in Turkey and foreign high schools in Turkey or dual nationals whose first nationality is Turkish by birth as defined in Article a, paragraph 2,
6) TRNC citizens who will register in secondary education institutions in Turkey as of the 2022-2023 academic year and those who have renounced their Turkish citizenship/Blue Card holders and foreign nationals (excluding embassy schools and international private educational institutions included in the MOBIS system and foreign nationals brought to our country within the scope of the project carried out by the Ministry of National Education)
